what is yumeshipping?
"yumeshipping" refers to shipping yourself, a represenation of yourself (a self-insert or sona), or an original character with a fictional character. you may have heard of the term "selfshipping" before. these terms are related, however "yumeshipping" is moreso of an umbrella term for the many ways one can create relationships with fictional characters. this webpage outlines some terminology commonly used in the yumeshipping sphere.
about spinel
spinel is an admin for a mysterious organization called the explorers. he specializes in gathering intel on his targets, creating extra elaborate plans, and attacking from afar. his methods are often cruel, as he shows no qualms in doing things such as tampering with someone's memory or attacking other humans with his pokemon. while he spends long hours on missions to serve the explorers, he is also a researcher at exceed laboratories. he changes his appearance with his hair and glasses depending on context. despite his usual callous ways that others know him for, he is quite gentle and protective when it comes to being a lover. his partner pokemon is an umbreon. he also has a magneton and beheeyem on his team.
about blythe
blythe is my self-insert who is a representation of myself created to suit the pokemon universe. i do not consider them an original character separate from myself, and i may refer to them as myself interchangeably.
blythe is a library assistant from the paldea region. they are known for their deep fascination with pokemon science and history. they enjoy reading whatever research papers they can access, all for the love of learning new information. perhaps in another life, they could have been a pokemon professor. when it comes to their personality and mannerisms, they can be quite awkward and seem unfriendly. their face doesn't often reflect thier true emotions. they are chronically ill and often use a cane when walking on foot. they have a preference for poison type pokemon. their partner pokemon is a roserade. blythe's scolipede is their other close companion and service pokemon.
